We had a lovely surprise on Thursday when our lovely Tracy delivered a huge hamper to us! The hamper has been kindly donated by Tracy’s husband’s employer, Mr. Sebastian Rate of Rates Ford, Hogg Lane, Grays.

We will raffle the hamper on December 8th. Thank you so much Mr Rate for your kind donation, it is very much appreciated.

The ASDA Foundation picked us to take part in the green tokens charitable scheme. Thanks to lots of votes, we came second and have been awarded £400!! Thank you!


The Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation have very generously granted £1000 to T.E.A.MS! Thank you!


Hala Ltd. held a stall at the ‘A Royal Strawberry Affair’ event in Brentwood on the 18th June 2022. They displayed lots of information about T.E.A.MS and also raised £624.93 by charging for their games in aid of T.E.A.MS!


Chris’ cousins wife, Val held an Afternoon Tea Fundraiser in aid of T.E.A.MS on the 18th June 2022. Despite having to move the venue at the last minute due to the weather, so many of her friends and family came along to help and to support the event. The event raised an amazing total of £2716, (£1716 raised at the event, with Barclays matching £1000!)

Fay’s cousin Phil nominated us as the charity for his and his team’s fundraising challenge, (HSBC Global Markets Regional Coverage Team). Together they took on The Edale Skyline Trek in the Peak district, covering over 30km over a 1.3km elevation!

They raised a whopping £4195! This could also still rise due to the HSBC matching scheme!

Alex’s Brownies and Coopers Cakes kindly donated a gift boxed batch of cookies and brownies as a prize for the T.E.A.MS social on the 19th Feb 2022.
They went down very well with the winner.

After visiting us at the group a few weeks previously, Brentwood A Becket Rotary club have very kindly agreed to fund the purchase of an Electric Massage Chair for T.E.A.MS and also 2 extra floor mats!


The Halfway House in West Horndon, Brentwood hosted our fabulous Christmas lunch this year. Despite the short notice of a few people being unable to attend, they very generously donated £180 to T.E.A.MS. We look forward to celebrating Christmas with them again next year!


In December 2021 we received a very kind £1000 donation from Layla Hinchen, Permanent Make Up and Aesthetics Ltd! Layla is the daughter of Committee member Tina!


On the 19/12/21 we received a very generous £1000 donation via Charities Trust from Sharon and Mark, who are close friends of Jaci’s!


On the 05/12/21 we received a £50 Donation from The Brentwood Community Revolutionaries raised by their fundraising efforts to support the local community!


On 02/12/2021 we received a Magic Little Grant through the partnership between Localgiving and Postcode Places Trust. Postcode Places Trust is a grant-giving charity funded by players of the People's Postcode Lottery. Localgiving isthe UK’sleading membership and support network for local charities and community groups. Our project received £500.

On the 30/11/2021 we were awarded £2000 from Your Active and Active Essex. This grant was awarded towards 15 weeks hall hire and towards staffing costs.


Matthew Hussey has very generously donated £2000 to T.E.A.MS to assist in the initial start up. Matthew is the nephew of Committee member and massage therapist, Shirley!


On the 24/09/2021 we were awarded £3000 from the Essex and Suffolk Water Community Fund administered by the Essex Community Foundation. This grant was awarded toward the staff costs and hall hire for T.E.A.MS to run its weekly therapy sessions!
